Assistant Manager, Heavy Equipment Sales

Job Summary/Purpose:

Manage sales activities of Heavy Equipment, Trucks, Buses, and other related products to achieve sales targets, increase turnover, profit, market share, and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities:
  1. Visit key account customers to promote Heavy Equipment Sales, explain features, and identify customer needs.
  2. Generate sales leads, identify new opportunities, and follow up on sales agreements.
  3. Finalize and execute sales orders with managerial approval.
  4. Keep sales team and clients updated on product specifications and services.
  5. Review product specifications for accuracy and customer requirements.
  6. Ensure timely delivery of equipment and proper installation/testing of customized specifications.
  7. Follow up post-delivery to ensure customer satisfaction and coordinate with the Service department for any required support.
  8. Ensure compliance with company policies during transactions with credit customers.
  9. Respond to customer queries, especially key accounts.
  10. Negotiate prices within approval limits and seek higher approval for special requests.
  11. Review daily sales reports, market conditions, and competition; report to management.
  12. Collect and forward customer documents for approvals.
  13. Coordinate with principals on pricing and other important matters.
  14. Set goals for staff, monitor KPIs, and conduct performance appraisals.
  15. Handle employee grievances, recommend disciplinary actions, and participate in recruitment processes.
  16. Prepare reports, maintain records, and adhere to company policies and safety regulations.
  17. Perform other duties as assigned by management.
