Supervise, train, and support the stewarding team in all steward functions including the cleaning, maintenance, and sanitation of china, glassware, silverware, kitchen equipment, and kitchen areas.

Ensure a clean, organized, and safe environment across kitchens, back-of-house areas, staff dining room, storage rooms, and stewarding equipment areas.

Enforce strict hygiene, sanitation, and safety standards throughout all stewarding and waste disposal activities.

Oversee the proper operation, maintenance, and preventative care of all stewarding machinery and equipment.

Maintain par stock levels of china, silverware, glassware, and other back-of-house items; manage storage, inventory, and collection, washing, and restocking.

Control breakage, monitor usage, and inspect garbage areas to maintain cleanliness and prevent waste.

Support culinary and banquet operations by coordinating supply of kitchenware, assisting with setups, and ensuring smooth food service logistics.

Assist with department inventories and maintain records of cleaning supplies and chemical usage.

Ensure consistent communication and coordination with the Executive Chef, Banquet Team, and Hygiene Manager for compliance with HACCP and other food safety regulations.

Lead and supervise the overnight cleaning shift and cover duties in the absence of the Executive Steward or Assistant Executive Steward.

What You Will Bring

Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar leadership role within a luxury five-star hotel environment.

Strong working knowledge of hygiene and safety protocols, including HACCP compliance.

Effective communication and interpersonal skills; fluent in English (written and spoken).

Hands-on approach with the ability to lead, motivate and train a diverse team.

Organized, detail-oriented, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
