This position is physically located in Kuwait in support of LOGCAP.

Overview

The successful candidate should have data-analytics algorithm development experience, communication skills, and skills in both front-end web and back-end engine development. Responsibilities include software and algorithm design, HTML/CSS prototypes, and finished digital products. The role involves maintaining web applications, developing intranet and internet webpages, and managing SharePoint sites and applications. Proficiency with XML and understanding of Rules Management in Maximo is required, along with skills in inbound and outbound integration processing, XML Schemas, and Web services.

Responsibilities
  • Development using C#/Python/HTML/CSS/JavaScript and related frameworks, databases, and backend technologies.
  • Creating analytics, including statistical, graph analytics, machine learning, and deep learning.
  • Collaborating with the team to understand and refine solutions, UI, and backend.
  • Participating in product development from concept to launch.
  • Team collaboration and documentation.
  • Providing technical support and maintaining software modules for web, database, and collaboration applications.
  • Adhering to software standards and procedures.
  • Assisting in requirements definition, solution recommendations, and problem resolution.
  • Advising project teams on software engineering technologies.
  • Investigating methods to improve software quality and productivity.
  • Managing intranet and internet web pages and SharePoint content.
  • Performing other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Science, or similar; equivalent experience may suffice.
  • Must be a US National with a valid home country driver's license and active security clearance.
  • Skills in testing frameworks, Git, DevOps, and high proficiency in English communication.
  • Proficient in MS Office tools.
  • 3-5 years experience with web servers in a Microsoft environment and SharePoint.
  • 1-3 years development experience with VB, Java, .NET or similar.
Working Conditions and Physical Requirements
  • Extended time in a computer environment.
  • Sedentary work with occasional lifting of objects up to 10 pounds.
