Registrar Anesthesia with ICU Certification

You are a dedicated physician with extensive knowledge of your specialty, seeking to grow and develop professionally. You play a vital role in ensuring high standards of patient safety and quality of care in both operating rooms and ICUs.
Skills & Competencies- Ability to work long hours, often under pressure;
- Ability to analyze complex information;
- Active communication skills with the ability to explain medical terms effectively to patients;
- A resilient and compassionate personality;
- Strong attention to detail.
- MBBS and Specialty Master Degree;
- ICU certification/subspecialty is mandatory;
- Minimum of 7 years of experience, with at least 2 years post-Master's degree;
- Willing to relocate to Kuwait.
In this role, you will support senior consultants in managing anesthesia during surgeries and caring for critically ill ICU patients. You are a dedicated Registrar eager to make a meaningful impact in a dynamic healthcare setting.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct preoperative evaluations, including history reviews and physical exams;
- Assess anesthesia risks and collaborate on anesthetic plans;
- Assist in administering anesthesia and monitor vital signs during surgeries;
- Oversee recovery in the PACU, managing pain and stability;
- Communicate patient status with nursing staff and families;
- Provide critical care in the ICU, including advanced monitoring, intubation, and ventilator management;
- Participate in multidisciplinary rounds and handle anesthesia-related emergencies;
- Ensure adherence to infection control, health and safety, and risk management protocols;
- Maintain high standards of patient care, customer service, and ethical behavior.
