Overview

This position will be physically located in Kuwait in support of LOGCAP. Under the supervision of the Operations Manager (O&M), the HVAC Mechanic Lead must have the ability to lead all duties and responsibilities of an HVAC section. Provides maintenance, repair, and replacement of heating, refrigeration, and air conditioning equipment.

Responsibilities
  • Lead all duties and responsibilities of an HVAC section.
  • Provide maintenance, repair, and replacement of heating, refrigeration, and air conditioning equipment.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent; trade certifications in HVAC; 5 years of HVAC experience; 2 years of supervisory experience.
  • Must be a U.S. citizen and able to obtain a US Military Operator's license.
  • Trade certification required.
  • Skills include technical proficiency in HVAC systems, documentation, and ability to work independently in harsh environments.
Working Conditions and Physical Requirements
  • Work in extreme weather conditions, including temperatures exceeding 120°F.
  • Indoor and outdoor environments with harsh conditions.
  • Light physical work; PPE required in some situations.
