Job Details:

Job Summary: A technical role with responsibility for the maintenance and operation of the P5 Combat Training System based in Kuwait. The successful candidate will help to stand up and deliver the Kuwait F18 P5CTS Ops and Maintenance Program. The successful candidate will work at the Ahmad al-Jaber Air Base and report to the Site Manager who will be co-located.

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Maintain a log containing the serial number, pod type, date, time, and remarks for all P5CTS pods checked in and out of the P5CTS pod shop.
2. Maintain a daily status/availability log on all P5CTS pods.
3. Maintain a record of elapsed Time Meter readings on a monthly basis and determine each pod's operational time for the month.
4. Operate and maintain the P5CTS Test Set in accordance with the applicable technical documentation.
5. Perform Organizational-Level (O-Level) and Intermediate-Level (I-Level) maintenance tests and replacement of the Shop Replaceable Assemblies (SRAs) on the P5CTS pods.
6. Assist as required in the operation and maintenance of the display equipment.
7. Perform duties of computer operations technician as required, which include:
   1. Load programs for operation and test.
   2. Perform subsystem test to assess operational readiness.
   3. Load all pre-mission exercise data into the Data Recorder Device (DRD).
   4. Maintain a control log of DRD issued to and received from aircrews.
   5. Operate the graphics terminals during live exercises and assist with display and control operations.
   6. Provide technical assistance to aircrews in setting up for replay/debriefing.
   7. Maintain and store records of mission tapes.
   8. Maintain a mission event log with specific, concise, and pertinent data entered under the following headings: date, time, mission/event, remarks, and operator.
   9. Interface directly with the aircrew regarding mission sortie effectiveness.
   10. Perform additional operations duties as directed by the Site Supervisor.
8. Comply with Cubic's values and adherence to all company policy and procedures, including the code of conduct, quality, security, and occupational health, safety, and environmental policies and procedures.
9. Perform other duties assigned by their manager from time-to-time, as may be reasonably required of them.

Minimum Job Requirements:

Skills, Knowledge, and Experience:

Essential:

1. Technical background in a similar role with experience in a military environment.
2. Proficiency with MS Office and testing software.
3. Ability to read electrical wiring diagrams and schematics.
4. Experience using electronic tools and testing equipment.
5. Ability to lift 75lbs and perform physical tasks such as bending, reaching, and working in tight spaces.

Desirable:

1. Prior military experience and leadership training.
2. Experience working in remote and/or foreign environments.
3. Experience in computer networking.

Education and Qualifications:

Essential:

1. Bachelor's Degree or equivalent military experience, with relevant experience in an electronics-related industry.
2. College qualification in a technical field or equivalent technical education and military experience.
3. U.S. citizenship and Secret Security clearance.
4. Must possess a valid driving license.
