What You Will Do
- Oversee daily housekeeping operations, ensuring high cleanliness and service standards in guest rooms and public areas.
- Support the Housekeeping Manager in executing operational requirements and supervising the team.
- Inspect rooms and public areas regularly, ensuring standards are consistently met.
- Train and guide housekeeping staff; act as a role model and promote teamwork.
- Maintain organized and clean pantries, storage areas, and workspaces.
- Monitor inventory of supplies and equipment; assist with ordering and stock-taking.
- Respond promptly to guest requests and resolve any concerns with professionalism.
- Uphold hotel grooming, hygiene, and safety standards; ensure staff compliance as well.
- Handle administrative tasks such as reports, staff scheduling, and coordination with other departments.
- Ensure follow-up on maintenance issues in assigned areas.
- Attend and participate in briefings, meetings, and training sessions.
- Promote hotel services and amenities to enhance guest experience.
- Handle "Do Not Disturb" rooms and safety protocols as per hotel policy.
- Maintain good working relationships across departments and encourage a culture of service excellence.
- Be flexible to carry out additional tasks or assist other departments as required.
- Minimum 3 years of previous experience in similar role in a five-star luxury hotel.
- Must have fluent level of English language both written and spoken.
- Due to nature of the job, female candidates will be preferred.
