Responsibilities:

Our newest opportunity is for a talented Environmental Engineer to join our team, based in Kuwait. This position is responsible for working on the Environmental Engineering elements on a major government housing program.

We envisage success in this role to include:

  1. Conducting audits for environmental and sustainability compliance on-site, considering green certification systems, sustainable site operations, and client-specific environmental standards and policies.
  2. Conducting material approvals for sustainability, on-site audits, and guiding supervision teams against sustainability and environmental compliance requirements.
  3. Preparing environmental reports on sites of non-compliance and supporting site teams in implementing remediation actions, if necessary.
  4. Leading site auditing, reporting, and providing reports to the Client.
  5. Supporting the wider KEO team in reviewing submissions and ensuring that the Client's sustainability and environmental requirements comply with Kingdom's regulations.
  6. Collaborating with KEO teams and the Client's specialist team.
  7. Writing reports related to progress and site audit compliance concerning environmental and sustainability/materials aspects.
Qualifications:

To succeed in this role, your background should include 12 years of relevant experience and a Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering or equivalent.

You should have experience working on large-scale projects within a consultancy scope in the GCC.

Native Arabic speakers will be preferred, as some departments require Arabic language skills.
