Nusery buyer

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Nursery Buyer, to join one of the Middle Easts leading retailers, ensuring that profitability is maximised through balancing market competitiveness and price.

As Buyer your main responsibilities will be:

* Implementing the strategic direction and financial plans for all nursery products.
* Deliver propositions and ranges targeted at the customer.
* Manage the supplier relationship through effective negotiation and delivering added value for the business from identified suppliers.
* Monitors and drives sales performance through the continuous review of key competitor activity and adjustment of the proposition as appropriate.
* Manage and coach your team of Assistants

As a Buyer your skills will ideally include:

* A wealth of buying experience, ideally within Nursery or babywear categories,
* Blue chip retail experience.
* Sound commercial acumen.

* Good analytical skills, excellent communication, influencing and negotiation skills.
* Highly organised and structured - strong time management skills.
