Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Migration Lead to lead the end-to-end data migration workstream for an SAP ECC to Jaggaer Source-to-Pay (S2P) implementation. The successful candidate will own migration strategy, planning, data assessment, mapping, transformation, mock migration cycles, reconciliation, cutover, and go-live readiness. The role requires strong ERP data migration expertise, preferably in SAP ECC procurement processes, along with proven experience delivering complex migrations through go-live. The Migration Lead will act as the primary point of contact for the client and prime contractor on all data migration activities, ensuring data quality, business validation, timely delivery, and effective stakeholder coordination.

Key Responsibilities

1. Data Migration Strategy and PlanningLead the end-to-end data migration strategy, planning, execution, and delivery for the SAP ECC to Jaggaer implementation.Define the migration scope, approach, timelines, milestones, dependencies, and deliverables.Establish migration governance, quality standards, validation criteria, and reporting mechanisms.Develop detailed migration plans covering mock cycles, final migration, cutover, and go-live readiness.
2. Data Assessment, Mapping, and TransformationAssess source data in SAP ECC and identify data quality issues, gaps, duplicates, and inconsistencies.Lead data profiling, cleansing, mapping, transformation, and validation activities.Manage mapping of SAP procurement data to the target Jaggaer Source-to-Pay platform.Ensure appropriate handling of vendor master data, material master data, purchasing documents, invoices, and other relevant procurement data.Conduct data mapping workshops with business and technical stakeholders and obtain business validation and sign-offs.
3. Mock Migration and ReconciliationPlan and coordinate multiple mock migration cycles to validate migration readiness.Define reconciliation procedures to ensure completeness, accuracy, consistency, and integrity of migrated data.Track and resolve migration defects, data discrepancies, and mapping issues in collaboration with technical and business teams.Monitor migration progress and maintain clear reporting on migration quality and readiness.
4. Cutover and Go-Live ManagementLead migration cutover planning, execution, and coordination.Prepare cutover checklists, runbooks, contingency plans, and rollback procedures as required.Ensure completion of pre-migration validations, final data loads, reconciliation, and business acceptance activities.Coordinate with implementation teams to ensure migration deliverables are completed within agreed timelines.Provide go-live support and drive the resolution of migration-related issues.
5. Stakeholder and Project ManagementServe as the primary point of contact for the client and prime contractor for data migration.Coordinate with procurement, finance, business users, technical teams, and implementation partners.Manage migration risks, issues, assumptions, dependencies, and escalations.Provide regular progress updates and ensure timely completion of migration milestones and deliverables.Travel to Kuwait for requirements workshops, UAT, stakeholder alignment, and go-live activities.
6. Documentation and GovernanceMaintain migration strategy documents, data mapping specifications, reconciliation reports, defect logs, and cutover plans.Ensure traceability of migration decisions, data validation results, and business approvals.Maintain appropriate data governance, quality controls, and audit-ready documentation throughout the migration lifecycle.

Mandatory Skills and Experience

• 12+ years of overall experience, with substantial hands‑on experience in ERP data migration.
• Proven experience leading at least two end-to-end ERP or procurement data migration projects through go‑live.
• Strong knowledge of SAP ECC, particularly procurement‑related data and processes.
• Experience with SAP vendor master data, material master data, purchasing documents, invoices, and related procurement objects.
• Hands‑on expertise in data profiling, cleansing, mapping, transformation, validation, mock migrations, reconciliation, and cutover.
