We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Civil Engineer to join our dynamic real estate development team in Kuwait. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in planning, designing, and overseeing construction projects across our diverse portfolio of real estate developments.

Job Description:

The Civil Engineer will be responsible for managing all aspects of civil engineering for our real estate projects, from initial site assessment to final construction. This position requires a strong technical background, excellent project management skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with various stakeholders.

Core Responsibilities:
  • Conduct comprehensive site investigations, analyzing topographical data, soil conditions, and environmental factors to determine site suitability for development.
  • Design and oversee the implementation of essential infrastructure, including roads, utilities, drainage systems, and other site-specific requirements.
  • Develop detailed site plans that optimize land use while ensuring compliance with local zoning regulations and building codes.
  • Prepare and review engineering drawings, specifications, and other technical documents.
  • Manage construction activities, ensuring adherence to project plans, quality standards, and safety regulations.
  • Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, and other professionals to ensure timely project completion.
  • Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress, identify potential issues, and ensure compliance with engineering and design requirements.
  • Analyze and interpret survey reports, maps, drawings, blueprints, and other technical data.
  • Prepare cost estimates for materials, equipment, and labor, and manage project budgets effectively.
  • Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize project delays and cost overruns.
  • Ensure all projects comply with local, state, and federal regulations, including environmental protection standards.
  • Prepare and submit permit applications to relevant authorities.
  • Provide technical expertise and guidance to resolve construction-related challenges.
  • Collaborate with the real estate team on corporate capital projects as needed.
  • Any other task as required by the management.

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited university.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license or equivalent in Kuwait.
  • Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in civil engineering, with a focus on real estate development projects.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, GIS, and other relevant software.
  • Strong knowledge of Kuwait's building codes, safety regulations, and construction standards.
  • Excellent project management skills, including the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Demonstrated experience in site planning, infrastructure design, and construction management.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Fluency in Arabic and English (both written and spoken).
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Master's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
  • Experience with sustainable construction practices and green building certifications.
  • Knowledge of Building Information Modeling (BIM) software.
  • Familiarity with the real estate market in Kuwait and the Gulf region.
Language Skills:
  • Bilingual candidate with excellent oral and written communication skills in English and Arabic.
Other Requirements:
  • Valid Kuwait Driving License.
  • Transferable Article 18 Visa.
