The Assistant Engineering Manager is responsible to ensure the efficient operation of the Engineering Department in support of all operating verticals, while guaranteeing the optimal maintenance of the equipment, building and hotel grounds. This position requires superior technical skills, a hands-on leadership style with strong people management, communications and organizational skills.

Role

We are looking for candidates who have experience in a similar role in a 5* luxury hotel and display strong traits in the following areas:

  1. A proven track record in luxury operations with a very strong technical background. (This is a complex role and at least 2 year experience in a similar role will be required)
  2. An instinctive eye for detail and a very keen passion for customer service
  3. An inspirational, caring and engaging leader with exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
  4. Someone with an entrepreneurial mindset that thrives in fast-paced environments
  5. A relentless and infectious passion for training and hands-on operational work
  6. Good problem solving, administrative skills are a must
