Role:

The Catalogue Specialist is responsible for managing and maintaining the product catalog within the SAP system. This includes updating new product listings, removing discontinued items, and ensuring the accuracy and completeness of product information. The role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and proficiency in SAP for product data management and reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and update the product catalog to reflect new product introductions and discontinued items.
  • Ensure all product details (e.g., descriptions, specifications, images, pricing) are accurate and consistently updated in the system.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Product Management, Marketing, IT, Creative Studio, etc) to collect and validate product information.
  • SAP Data Management:
  • Input and maintain product data in SAP, ensuring alignment with the latest updates.
  • Conduct regular audits to verify the integrity of the product catalog within the SAP system.
  • Generate and analyze reports from SAP to track product life cycles and inventory.
  • New Product Onboarding:
  • Work closely with category managers to capture new product details and ensure timely catalog inclusion.
  • Coordinate with relevant departments to gather technical and marketing content for product listings.
  • Identify and track obsolete or phased-out products.
  • Update the catalog and SAP system by removing or archiving discontinued items.
  • Quality Control and Process Improvement:
  • Ensure consistent naming conventions, categorization, and product taxonomy across the catalog.
  • Identify areas for improvement and implement best practices for catalog management.
  • Documentation and Reporting:
  • Maintain detailed records of catalog changes and product updates.
  • Provide regular reports on product status, updates, and discontinued items to stakeholders.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Management, or a related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in product catalog management, data administration, or a similar role.
  • Proficiency in SAP (specifically product data modules) is mandatory.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record-keeping.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively with multiple departments.
  • Strong communication skills for cross-functional coordination.
  • Experience with large data sets and data validation processes.
