Responsibilities

Our newest opportunity is for a talented Plumbing Inspector to join our Project Management Division based in Kuwait. This position is responsible for examining fire protection, plumbing systems, water supply and distribution systems, plumbing fixtures and traps, and drain, waste and vent lines.

We envisage success in this role to include:

  • Attending to Inspection Requests (IR's) submitted by the contractor and taking appropriate action in a timely manner.
  • Reviewing submitted shop drawings against contract drawings and specifications, local codes, statutory requirements, and international best practices.
  • Reporting any works carried out by the contractor found not to be in accordance with approved drawings and specifications and reporting to stakeholders for appropriate action.
  • Monitoring the quality of works and assessing safety at the site including health and environmental issues, ensuring compliance with contractual specifications and safety and health risk assessments.
  • Maintaining records for daily activities on site including progress photos and ensuring they are readily available for inspection as and when required.
  • Preparing surveillance reports for deficiencies of work found at the site and non-conformance reports (NCR) if required in view of the development of events.
  • Checking and ensuring effective coordination between discipline-related works and all other disciplines.
  • Providing technical input and experience to resolve any discipline-related issues on site that may arise.
Qualifications

To be successful in this dynamic opportunity, we envision that your career journey includes 10 years of experience, partnered with a BSc or BEng in MEP or similar.

KSE (Kuwait Society of Engineers) Registration must be in hand to be eligible for this role.
