Amentum is seeking linguists with excellent English skills to support our diverse team globally for our mission's success. We are looking for dedicated linguist professionals in various languages/dialects to support our intelligence community customer OCONUS. Linguists will support U.S. military operations in Kuwait as Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) in an assigned area of responsibility. They will provide language services and offer cultural insights into the region's historical, political, sociological, and economic trends to senior leadership.

Principal Responsibilities:
  • Provide operational contract linguist support for military operations, interpret during interviews, meetings, and conferences.
  • Transcribe and analyze verbal communications.
  • Research and analyze foreign language documents for key information.
  • Provide translation and interpretation services for Singhalese.
Job Requirements:
  • Must be a U.S. citizen.
  • Excellent command of Singhalese and English; ILR proficiency level 3 in target language and 2+ in English.
  • Current U.S. passport or ability to obtain one upon acceptance.
  • Active Secret clearance for access to classified information.
  • Willingness to work in Kuwait and meet residency requirements.
  • Availability for shifts and extended hours for 24/7 operations.
  • Familiarity with and ability to adhere to local culture and customs.
  • Must undergo medical examination and meet MOD15 requirements.
