Description

In this role, you will provide advanced diagnostic, therapeutic, and rehabilitative services for individuals with hearing and balance disorders.

Role & Responsibilities:

1. Examine patients with ear, hearing, or balance-related problems.
2. Assess examination results and diagnose patients.
3. Determine the best course of treatment, considering patient needs and concerns.
4. Fit and dispense hearing aids.
5. Provide counseling to patients and their families on effective listening and communication methods, including lip reading and assistive technology.
6. Evaluate and monitor patient progress, recording any developments.
7. Educate patients on preventing hearing loss.
8. Research causes and potential treatments for hearing and balance disorders.
