Description
In this role, you will provide advanced diagnostic, therapeutic, and rehabilitative services for individuals with hearing and balance disorders.
Role & Responsibilities:
- Examine patients with ear, hearing, or balance-related problems.
- Assess examination results and diagnose patients.
- Determine the best course of treatment, considering patient needs and concerns.
- Fit and dispense hearing aids.
- Provide counseling to patients and their families on effective listening and communication methods, including lip reading and assistive technology.
- Evaluate and monitor patient progress, recording any developments.
- Educate patients on preventing hearing loss.
- Research causes and potential treatments for hearing and balance disorders.
