Job Openings in the Switchgear Industry

We are hiring for the following positions, specifically seeking candidates with experience in medium to high voltage switchgear projects:

1. Substation Design Engineer

We are looking for a skilled Substation Design Engineer with experience in medium to high voltage projects. Key responsibilities include:

  • Designing and analyzing single line diagrams (SLD) and protection schemes.
  • Reviewing and developing schematic drawings and substation layouts.
  • Conducting cable sizing, grounding/earthing calculations, and lightning protection studies.
  • Performing lighting study calculations and equipment sizing (SWGR, TRFR, APFC, GEN, UPS).
  • Reviewing vendor documents and ensuring compliance with project requirements.

2. Senior Research & Development Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Senior Mechanical Design Engineer to join our R&D team. The ideal candidate will have:

  • Expertise in 11kV Air Insulated Switchgear systems, including Single Busbar (SBB) and Double Busbar (DBB) systems.
  • Hands-on experience with type testing.
  • Proficiency in Autodesk Inventor or any other 3D design software for conceptual design and drawing.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

3. Estimation Engineer

We are looking for a detail-oriented Estimation Engineer with experience in cost estimation and analysis. Key responsibilities include:

  • Preparing cost estimates during the design and development phase.
  • Gathering and analyzing proposals, specifications, and other documents to generate cost estimates.
  • Monitoring and reviewing data to identify cost reduction opportunities.
  • Assessing the cost-effectiveness of products and tracking actual costs against budgets.
  • Providing regular reports on cost status and suggesting improvements.

4. Procurement Engineer

We are hiring an experienced Procurement Engineer with:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in the switchgear industry.
  • Strong negotiation and supplier management skills.
  • Experience in sourcing, evaluating suppliers, and managing procurement processes.
