Adjuncts - Electrical and Computer Engineering

Overview

The Department of Engineering is seeking part-time faculty members in electrical/computer engineering; Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or a closely related field is required. The successful candidate will teach a range of undergraduate courses, no more than one to two courses per semester. Experience in liberal arts education is desirable. The position is for local residents in Kuwait only.

Responsibilities

• Teach a range of undergraduate courses, no more than one to two per semester.
• Apply best teaching practices and advance the University’s mission of lifelong learning.
• Collaborate with faculty and staff in the spirit of cooperation and for the purpose of advancing innovation and curriculum development.
• Commit to the ongoing activities of the Department and College.

Qualifications

• Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or a closely related field is required.
• Experience in liberal arts education is desirable.
