Job Purpose

  • To manage all PCs, servers, and network equipment located in Kuwait.
  • Liaise with service providers and MIT on matters relating to communication lines, system setup, etc.

Key Result Areas

  • Provide IT support and solutions to meet business group goals and expectations.
  • Handle project implementation involving planning, designing, implementing, upgrading, and supporting LAN infrastructure and CBK-related projects.
  • Act as the point of contact for all escalated matters, ensuring proper resolution with agreement from both business and technology teams.
  • Coordinate application support, installation, and configuration with the Global IT Team.
  • Support domain desktop devices (printers, scanners, etc.).
  • Perform desktop patching, vulnerability management, and domain server support.
  • Ensure physical desktop/server readiness and inventory management, support non-domain servers.
  • Conduct security operations, including firewall, antivirus, ACL, and voice support.
  • Update and adhere to information security and ISPM policy guidelines.
  • Manage DR site, ensure it is operational, and plan/execute BCP drills as scheduled.
  • Provide quality, value-added customer service.
  • Coordinate and align business and technology needs, including recommendations and communication.
  • Coordinate with vendors to achieve timely project completion and resolve issues, focusing on CBK guidelines and requirements with timelines.
  • Manage daily issues to resolution.
  • Oversee a portfolio of projects, ensuring completion within agreed timeframes and budgets.
  • Address project realignments, prioritize, and communicate accordingly.
  • Manage daily interactions with technology teams.
  • Monitor SLA adherence and enforce compliance.
  • Ensure compliance with regulator and audit requirements for the Kuwait Branch.
  • Understand security architecture, practices, and procedures.
  • Coordinate with IS teams to develop local requirements, communicate with HO, and update as needed.
  • Track IT assessment reports and collaborate with technology teams for closure.
  • Provide recommendations to improve IS practices and procedures in the country.
  • Manage information security incidents in coordination with HO.
  • Maintain and update hardware and software inventory.
  • Manage access to bank areas as per policy.

Knowledge, Skills & Experience

  • Graduate in electronics, communications, or computer science.
  • Microsoft certification in Windows operating systems.
  • Strong customer service orientation and positive attitude.
  • At least 4 years of relevant experience.
