  • Assist in developing Audit Program based on the controls identified (subject to review by Senior IT Auditor / IT Audit Manager).
  • Communicate assigned tasks to engagement team in a manner that is clear and concise, ensuring high quality, accurate, and efficient results.
  • Prepare the Summary of Issues for review by the Senior IT Auditor / IT Audit Manager and discussion with line management.
  • Examine Internal IT Controls, evaluate the design and operational effectiveness, determine exposure to risk and develop remediation strategies.
  • Responsible for preparation of draft audit issues for review by the IT Audit Manager.
  • Assist the Senior IT Auditor / IT Audit Manager in conducting IT investigations and preparation of investigation reports.
  • Ensure adequate focus on personal professional growth in line with standard audit career progression - proactively seek relevant education and training opportunities.
  • Develop a strong understanding of business and system processes.
  • Review, evaluate and test IT application controls.
  • Maintain an adequate level of current knowledge and proficiency in the field of information systems audit, control and security, and Financial Industry Standard and Controls.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned by the Senior IT Auditor / IT Audit Manager.

Educational Qualifications & Experience

  • 1-3 years' experience in IT Audit, IT, IT Risk Management or Information Security in Banking Sector.
  • Graduate in Information Technology or related areas would be preferred.

Skills

  • Good English report writing and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent inter-personal relationship with auditors and staff.
  • Ability to communicate ideas and obtain acceptance from auditors / clients.
  • Extensive experience with PC applications such as MS-Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
  • Arabic skills an advantage but not mandatory.
