Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Chef De Cuisine, located in Salmiya. The Chef De Cuisine will be responsible for managing kitchen operations, developing menus, overseeing food preparation and presentation, and ensuring high-quality standards. Daily tasks include supervising kitchen staff, ordering supplies, maintaining an organized and sanitary kitchen, and collaborating with management to create new dishes and specials based on seasonal ingredients and customer preferences.
Qualifications
- Strong culinary skills, including knowledge of cooking techniques and ingredients
- Menu development and food presentation skills
- Kitchen management, including staff supervision and inventory control
- Food safety and sanitation expertise
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Strong communication and leadership abilities
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Relevant culinary degrees or certifications are advantageous
- Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in a high-end restaurant
