Position: Junior Interior Designer

Key Responsibilities:

  • Client Consultation & Presentation: Conduct consultations with clients to understand their design needs, prepare basic presentations, and follow up to finalize sales.
  • Stay Updated: Continuously stay informed on design trends and Abyat's evolving product offerings to deliver modern and relevant design solutions.
  • Client Records Management: Maintain detailed records of client needs, design options, and purchase history to ensure smooth follow-ups and continued client satisfaction.
  • Design Support: Assist senior designers in creating initial design concepts and supporting the overall design process.
  • Collaborative Teamwork: Work with sales and customer service teams to ensure the successful execution of design projects.

Qualifications:

  • Educational Background: Degree or diploma in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
  • Experience: 1–3 years of experience in interior design (internship or freelance experience is welcomed).
  • Sales/Customer Service: Familiarity with sales or customer service in a design or retail environment is a strong plus.
  • Technical Skills: Basic proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, or other 3D design tools.
  • Communication Skills: Strong communication and presentation skills in both Arabic and English.
  • Client-Focused: A confident, client-focused approach with the ability to understand client requirements and deliver design solutions.
  • Commercial Awareness: Understanding of the commercial aspects of design, such as space optimization, budget constraints, and product offerings.
  • Passion for Design: A passion for interior design with a strong understanding of space planning, color theory, and furniture arrangement.
