Job SummaryResponsible for the development of logistical plans, policies, and procedures necessary to provide support in the logistics areas of supply, transportation, maintenance, and services. Recommends and coordinates the logistics support structure to perform the logistics functions of the project; coordinates the interface between logistics functions such as transportation, maintenance and warehousing to ensure efficient, timely, and cost effective support to the customer. Troubleshoots problem areas in logistics and coordinates problem resolution or recommends solutions to management. Coordinates with customers to ensure desired logistics objectives, priorities, and schedules are met and communicated to management. Analyzes work processes and develops metrics for measurement of performance; coordinates with Environmental, Safety, and other Shared Services functional areas as appropriate in regard to logistical functions performed under contract. Skills are typically acquired through completion of an undergraduate degree and 1-3 years of experience; prefer 88N or previous MCT experience and strong computer skills to include Outlook, Excel, Access and Power Point. Must have experience within TC AIMS II – Transportation Coordinators Automatic Information for Movement System II Secret Clearance required.Additional requirements
  • Must be fluent in English
  • Must possess a passport book (not passport card) with at least 15 months of remaining validity AND with at least 6 blank front/back visa stamp pages remaining
  • Must possess driver's license with at least 14 months of remaining validity
  • It should be understood that employment may be located in potentially dangerous areas, including combat or war zones. This might involve the possibility of suffering harm by dangerous forces or friendly fire. These dangers are inherent to working conditions in a dangerous environment.
