This is a Direct Hire Authority (DHA) solicitation utilizing the DHA for Certain Personnel of the DoD Workforce to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to positions in the competitive service.

This position is with the 401st Army Field Support located in Camp Arifjan Kuwait.



Duties
  • Coordinate and lead property accountability and asset visibility operations at dispersed locations.
  • Develop guidance for Government Furnished Equipment (GFE) to inform contractors of fiduciary requirements.
  • Serve as a command logistics systems integrator as well as functional and technical advisor on Army War Reserve Deployment System (AWRDS), Logistics Modernization Program (LMP) and Global Combat Support System-Army (GCSS-A)
  • Establish support operations in conjunction with other accountability teams to work operational issues.
  • Resolve complex logistics problems affecting numerous activities and units throughout all geographical areas.
  • Recommend new property accounting and management support concepts to accomplish goals and policies.
